Clips
Retaining clips and spring clips formed to the drawing. The opening is a dimension, not a squeeze.
Yard/Wire
Wire
Spools on the rack for the diameters we coil every week. Odd alloys are ordered against the job. Wire forms sit on the same bench.
Range
A near-size from the rack is not a substitute. If 4.5 mm is on the sheet, we do not send 4.0 mm and hope the hole still fits.
| Band | Yard note |
|---|---|
| 0.3–2 mm | Fine machine and instrument springs |
| 2–8 mm | Most compression and extension lots |
| 8–16 mm | Die, door, and implement work |
| Forms | Clips, pins, hooks, the odd shape |
Wire forms from the bench: clips, retainers, and the bent piece that still has to sit in the machine.

Straight, bent, and double-hook. Ends dressed so they do not cut the hand that fits them.
The piece that is not a catalog spring. A sample or a sheet is enough to start. Same-day samples close at 11:00.
Bench
Send wire diameter, developed length if you have it, and a sketch of the bends. The yard replies with a note — not a price list.
